NATURES BERRY SMOOTHIE
Blueberries and strawberries, two of my favourite fruits, provide amazing health benefits. Smoothies can be enjoyed first thing in the morning to kick-start your day, as a refreshing lunchtime boost, a post-workout refuel, or even a light and wholesome dessert.

SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS
- 95 g (1/2 cup) fresh blue berries
- 170 g (6 large) fresh strawberries
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 600 ml (2 1/2 cups) plant milk (soy, almond, oat or rice) or substitute with coconut water
- pinch of salt (optional)
- 3-4 ice cubes (optional)
MAY USE FROZEN BERRIES IN PLACE OF FRESH, THEN LEAVE OUT THE ICE CUBES
METHOD
*Place all ingredients, except the ice, into a blender jug.*Blend on high until smooth and creamy.*If desired, add ice cubes and blend again for a thicker, colder, more refreshing smoothie.*Pour into serving glasses and enjoy immediately.
